Visalia Appliance Repair Pros
610 S Conyer St
Visalia, CA 93277
These terms explain how Visalia Appliance Repair Pros (“we”, “us”) works with you, from your first call to the end of your warranty. By booking a repair or using our website, you agree to them. We’ve written them in plain language; if anything is unclear, call us and we’ll explain.
You pay $49 for the diagnostic visit. You get a written estimate before any repair, and we never charge more than it without your OK. Prices on our website are estimates. Every repair carries a 90-day parts and labor warranty, and California law protects you along the way.
1. Who we are
Visalia Appliance Repair Pros is a licensed, insured appliance repair company at 610 S Conyer St, Visalia, CA 93277. We’re registered with the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services (BHGS) as an appliance service dealer, and our technicians are EPA Section 608 certified for refrigerant work.
2. Our services and service area
We repair household appliances in your home: refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, stoves, cooktops, microwaves and garbage disposals. We serve Visalia (93277, 93291, 93292), Tulare, Exeter, Farmersville, Goshen, Ivanhoe and Yettem. See our services and service areas.
3. Booking and appointments
We answer the phone 24/7. A request sent through our website isn’t a confirmed appointment until we call you back to confirm the day and time. We offer same-day visits whenever our schedule allows, and urgent problems such as a warm refrigerator or an active leak go first, but we can’t guarantee a same-day slot. If we’re running late, we’ll call you. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let us know as early as you can.
4. The $49 diagnostic visit
Our diagnostic visit costs $49. It covers the technician’s trip and the time to find what’s wrong with one appliance. As BHGS rules require, we tell you this charge before we come out. If you decide not to go ahead with the repair, you pay only the $49 diagnostic fee.
5. Estimates and website prices
After diagnosing the problem, your technician explains it and gives you a written estimate for parts and labor before starting any repair, as California Business and Professions Code §9844 requires. We won’t do extra work or charge more than the estimate without your consent.
Repair costs shown on our website are national estimates for guidance only. Your exact price depends on your appliance, the failed part and the work needed. For an exact price, call us at (559) 597-1018.
6. Parts
Our trucks carry the parts that fail most, so many repairs finish on the first visit. If a part must be ordered, we’ll give you its expected arrival date in writing and schedule a return visit. Your invoice states whether each part is new, used or reconditioned. You can ask to keep the parts we replace, except parts that must go back to a manufacturer or supplier for a warranty or core credit.
7. Payment
Payment is due when the work is complete, unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing. You’ll receive an itemized invoice listing the parts and labor charged, as California law requires.
8. Our warranty
Every repair is backed by our 90-day parts and labor warranty, in writing. If the same problem returns within 90 days because of a faulty part or our workmanship, we come back and fix it at no extra cost. Full details are in our Warranty Policy.
9. Work we don’t do
We repair appliances. We don’t run new gas lines, install new electrical circuits or open plumbing inside walls; those jobs need a licensed plumber or electrician, and we’ll tell you if one is needed. If you smell gas, leave the house and call SoCalGas or 911 from outside first; we can repair the appliance once the gas utility has made it safe.
10. Your part
- An adult 18 or older should be home for the visit and able to approve the estimate.
- Please give us safe, clear access to the appliance and tell us about any hazards you know of, such as a gas smell, a leak or damaged wiring.
- Please keep children and pets away from the work area.
- Please give us accurate details when you book, so we can bring the right parts.
11. When a repair isn’t possible
Sometimes a part has been discontinued, or a repair would cost more than the appliance is worth. If that happens, we’ll tell you before charging anything beyond the diagnostic fee and give you our honest advice on repairing or replacing it.
12. Limitation of liability
We take care to protect your home while we work. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect losses caused by an appliance failure itself, such as spoiled food or lost time, or for problems with parts of the appliance we didn’t repair. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under California consumer protection law.
13. Concerns and complaints
If you’re unhappy with any part of our service, please call or email us first; we’ll do our best to put it right. If we can’t resolve it, you can contact the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services, which oversees appliance service dealers, at bhgs.dca.ca.gov.
14. Using our website
Our website’s content, including troubleshooting tips and safety steps, is general information written to help you, not a substitute for an in-person diagnosis. Only try the checks you’re comfortable with, never open an appliance’s cabinet, and call a technician if you’re unsure. Website content may change without notice.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Tulare County, California.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our services or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. The terms in effect when you booked apply to that repair.
